Zippers & Chocolate Chippers!

See You At The Tea Shop

Last week, students found out what majors will stay and which will go. It's been a heartbreaking, stressful time as students are now up against the one-week(!) deadline to decide on whether or not they intend to stay and what major they will declare. Some students are forced to choose another major because NU lacks accreditation; others may choose to transfer. In any event, all choices are bad choices. Seniors were also told they may have to take additional courses in the summer to fulfill NU requirements to graduate!

We have also learned NU has taken over the Teach Out roll-out completely. Apparently, the College had the Teach Out prepared last semester, but for reasons unknown, did not roll it out. Actions by NU definitely say something about its depth of confidence in the Mills Admin.

It also demonstrates how little the College actually cares about its students.

We are now seeing an uptick in disgruntled students and parents.

There may be some protesting, yet! Will you stand up and stand with our students?

In other news, we learned the College "hates" having Alums on campus. So, look out! Here we come. Remember your Zipper? (Big Sis/Sib)

Let's be Zippers to our students!

With the turn of events, students are anxious to talk, process and connect. Please join us! This week, we'll introduce the students to the famous Mills Heirloom Cookie.
